Last Stop- Cafe Gratitude and A Fantastic NEW Raw Cartoon

March 31, 2008

Cafe GratitudeMy last stop in San Francisco was the fabulous “Cafe Gratitude”. I have heard many great things about this raw food restaurant and was able to stop in for breakfast. The menu features items named as affirmations, such as “I am Special”, “I am Charismatic”, “I am Healthy”.

The concept of the restaurant revolves around a board game (developed by the owner) which introduces people to an unfamiliar view of BEING ABUNDANCE. It encompasses both training people in a day to day practice as well as discovering a Spiritual foundation that opens up to a whole new way of looking at money and resources. People experience themselves being at the source of unlimited supply.

I didn’t get to play the game (due to time constraints), but I did sample the “Cherry Garcia Smoothie” and “Raw Cinnamon Rolls”. Both were incredible and delicious. The restaurant has a great vibe and is now up there as one of my favorite raw food restaurants in the country. Stop by if you are in the San Fran area (I heard from the manager they are going to be opening a 4th location in Los Angeles—!!!!).

I have returned home which means…YES. The shows are coming back. Look for our David Icke episode in the next couple of days…I will be hard at work editing and producing. In the meantime, I am currently among the cast in a raw food cartoon produced and written by Gilmo Entertainment.

See below (written by the director Ron Gilmore)

The short animated film “The Adventures of Rawman and Green-Girl” which was produced by Ron Gilmore and shown at the 2008 Raw Lifestyle Film Festival can now be seen on You Tube.

Muir Woods- Magical Grounds

March 24, 2008

Muir WoodsOur next stop on our San Francisco tour was Muir Woods.

West coast redwood trees dominate Muir Woods’ forest. We hiked the trails, enjoying the wildlife and incredible scenery.

Although Raw Vegan food was hard to find, the cafe offered delicious organic oranges. Along with a couple of raw protein bars, I was full of energy. The weather was perfect and the trees were breathtaking. I am enjoying being away from the studio but look forward creating new shows upon my arrival.

I will continue to blog until I return…

On The Road- San Francisco

March 24, 2008

aliveI am temporarily out of the studio until next weekend. I met up with an old college friend (Veronica Prainito from New Jersey) in San Francisco and we are checking out the raw scene out here. Tonight, we had an amazing meal at Alive. I especially enjoyed the Thyme Parsley Walnut Pesto Raviolis with Shitake Mushrooms and Sundried Tomato Marinara.

Another favorite was the raw sushi made with an incredible cashew creme sauce…to top it off, we split one of the most INCREDIBLE raw desserts I have ever experienced…a delectable blueberry torte (and award-winning for best dessert at the Raw Spirit Festival, according to the owner).

Definitely check out this amazing restaurant when you are out in the Bay Area. Highly recommended and Winner of Best in 2007 from San Francisco Weekly.

I had some equipment failure at the home studio so unfortunately, the David Icke show will air next weekend…but believe me, it is well worth the wait!

Be back soon…

Next Episode- David Icke

March 21, 2008

David IckeI have been working on editing our next show, an exclusive interview with David Icke. The should should be aired tomorrow, as I will be out of the studio for a week. David talked about pertinent global conspiracy issues and what we can do to change things in a positive direction…enlightening and please note, David Icke is one of the most sought after speakers. We were lucky to have him on our show.

Tonight is the Raw Lifestyle Film Festival in Los Angeles and I am just about to leave. I have an interview lined up with some surprise guests, but I won’t make any announcements until they are confirmed. :)

I hope to see some of my listeners at tonight’s event, it will be a great time (and Raw Vegan Radio is one of the Sponsors).
